Huge Book Haul!

It’s been a long while since I’ve done a haul so now it has basically turned into a massive pile of books that belong in this post. Whoops! I didn’t buy all of these, about half were gifted to me so thanks to those who contributed 😀 The rest I got on Book Outlet while they were having their Summer sale (at least that’s what I want to say it was). I can’t resist Book Outlet as it is and then they add the word sale to that whole equation, yeah I didn’t stand a chance! I got a lot of books that I’ve really been wanting for ages so I’m really excited and the others seemed intriguing. Told you I can’t resist! Let’s begin shall we?

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – As you’re probably well aware, I love this book dearly and have been pining for my own copy for ages now! IT’S MINE!

Cinder by Marissa Meyer – I know the Lunar Chronicles are beloved by pretty much everyone, but I’ve actually never read them! Consider it another casualty of the TBR monster. I figure if I own it, I’ll have a better chance of starting it. That’s sound logic, right?!

Vicious by V.E. Schwab – I couldn’t resist this little golden nugget. I love V.E. Schwab and can’t wait to dive into this one!

The Problem with Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout- Jennifer L. Armentrout is one of my favorites (probably something else you already know if you’ve been on my blog before, haha) and so when her new book came out I couldn’t not get it. Plus that cover!!!

The Stars Never Rise by Rachel Vincent – I actually haven’t heard too much about this one but it has intrigued me for a while so I’m interested to see what it’s like.

Half Bad by Sally Green – Another one I haven’t heard a whole lot about but I’ve definitely seen it around. The premise sounds really interesting!

Jackaby by William Ritter – When I saw this on Book Outlet there was no way on Earth I was passing it up. If my memory is correct (because I’m too lazy to get up and actually look) the cover claims it’s a Sherlock Holmes meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer. UM YES! Hopefully it lives up to my expectations.

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas – I LOOOOVED Throne of Glass so this was high up on my wish list! I’m hoping to catch up with the series in time for Empire of Storms, but let’s be honest, that’s probably wishful thinking.

Hopeless by Colleen Hoover –  I know a lot of people really love Colleen Hoover and I have never read any of her books so I picked this one up on Book Outlet. I actually already read it, in basically a day no less, because it was so addictingly awesome! So much so that I immediately picked up Confess after I finished. However, wasn’t such a fan of that one, but that’s a conversation for another post 🙂

Lux Consequences by Jennifer L. Armentrout – This was the last book I needed to complete my Lux series and amazingly enough it was available on Book Outlet during the sale! Hey, I guess sometimes I luck out 🙂

The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan, and Maureen Johnson – I don’t really know if I’ll ever read this, at least it’s safe to say I won’t be in the near future because I have so much else to get to, but I wanted it to complete my TMI series. Plus it was on sale so why not!

The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye- I am really, really excited about this. The setting and premise both sound incredible. I have heard some mixed things about it though, so I’m hoping I enjoy it.

What We Saw by Aaron Hartzler – This was an impulse buy but it seems like it’s going to be a very compelling and important read.

And that wraps it up!

Have you read any of the books that I hauled? What did you think? Have you purchased any new books lately or had a good library haul??

  1. This haul is amazing I read Cinder recently and really enjoyed it. I also want to read sooooo many of these!! Especially Vicious, Six of Crows and What we Saw.

Thanks! I’m really excited for Cinder. I know everyone loves the Lunar Chronicles so I figure it’s way past time that I jumped on that bandwagon 😀 I’m really excited for Vicious! I’m trying to hold of reading A Gathering of Shadows until it’s a little closer to the release of A Conjuring of Light so I figured I’d read Vicious and get my V.E. Schwab fill, haha!

      • Cinder really surprised me. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did! I’m reading A Gathering of Shadows now, but I’m taking my time with it for the same reason because I don’t want to have to wait for A Conjuring of Light haha.

Waiting for books is the worst! At least until you move on to others and forget about the one you’re waiting for hahaha!
